About

A  1904 Historical Home, The Guest House is located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods of Bellingham, Washington. We are a short distance to Western Washington University, walking distance to historic Fairhaven shopping district, across the street from a waterfront park, and close to the Alaska Ferry Terminal and Amtrak Depot.

Our guests come to Bellingham for a variety of reasons:

  • Visiting family members attending Western Washington University.
  • Participating in annual events such as Ski to Sea race, Festival of Music, soccer tournaments, R.S.V.P. (Seattle to Vancouver bike ride) and the many W.W.U. year round events.
  • Gateway to Seattle, Vancouver B.C., and the breathtaking San Juan Islands.
  • Restful reprieve before or after the Alaska Ferry cruise.

We have excellent sailing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and whale watching/sunset cruises out ‘our back door’! And we are 50 miles to the Mount Baker ski area that usually has the deepest snowpack of any resort in North America.
